Whew, that was a close one. Goal in stoppage time! We weren't fucking offsides for that goal in the first half either, but I guess that's the nature of the beast when it comes to soccer.

no he wasn't at all, but watching the replay I can somewhat see why he was judged to be so.. it's sort of like the first base umpire having to watch two things at once.. it's very tough on the close calls, just glad they got the goal they needed to win, to get knocked out essentially on two blown calls would be very unfair.. but again, it woulc have easily went the other way, howard was clearly beaten on that shot off the crossbar

sad stuff watching our boys loose, Ghana's defense was too much, and their offense was impressive too... curious how Ghana will do moving forward... if they do well, it will somehow make this loss easier to accept for me personally.
