really? I think its ridiculous and nothing to do with what football is about. In an instance like that the ref should be able to award the goal.. hopefully he will get at least a 3 match ban and have to sit out matches after the world cup is over

So did he make the wrong call then? Is there not set rule what the ref is supposed to call when someone blocks a goal with their hand?
Major props for Suarez he is a fucking hero !!!! what a player people , he is sharp , scores and knows what to do to make his team move forward , most likely one of my top 10 players of this World cup and to Abreu for having the balls to take the PK the way he did . This world cup has Southamerica written all over it .
