    Purolator = Worst service ever

    Hey guys, I haven't been posting here much yet, but I thought I'd give everyone a little warning about Purolator.

    I ordered a video card for my PC from NCIX.com on December 23rd with Next Business Day delivery courtesy of Purolator. I STILL don't have it. I've been calling them every day since Wednesday, Dec. 29th, and they keep telling me "you'll get it tomorrow"...every single fucking time. The first time it was alright, cause afterall, it was just after the holidays. But this is just dragging on.

    The last 2 days were the most ridiculous though. Both days I've been told by Head Managers in Texas...no, GARUNTEED, that I'll "get it tomorrow" and it's still not here. And 3 times already, there was a "address correction required"...which seems to be their way of saying "we don't know where it is". I filled the f'in address out myself. NCIX just printed it. It doesn't need correction.

    This is a complete fuckin joke. I'm on the phone right now, bitching the shit out of them and they're telling me that it missed the truck and will arrive tomorrow. If something remotely close to this happend at the hotel I work then whoever would be involved with this would fly out of there so fucking fast, its not even funny.

    Don't deal with these dicks, your money will just go to waste.

    We had some steaks, etc. ordered for us and my mother filled out all the information correctly. We got a call from DHL saying that the package could not be delivered because it lacked an apartment number (which I know my mother included when ordering). After about 5 days we were finally able to get our package. Needless to say everything had thawed and we immediately threw it out. I had my mother call them to complain that they had left the apartment number off the shipping label and they agreed to reship overnight via FedEx. The company left the apartment number off again! Thankfully FedEx has their act together and we were able to find out about it in enough time to get to the FedEx warehouse and pick it up ourselves.

      The only thing that expired for me, other than my patience, is the 7-day return warranty for all my other equipment in my new computer. Sooooo, if something is defective, I'm going to have to send it to the company and get it replaced. Meaning, even more trouble.

      Ain't it great? I buy a new computer and I can't use it because I'm missing the video card. UGh

      Fedex and UPS are the only 2 companies I haven't heard any complaints about yet...but everyone who I mention my story to, answers with "yeah, this one time I dealt with Purolator, bla bla bla happend, didn't get package/it was damaged" etc etc

        I've not heard of Purolator. Here in the states Purolator is an oil filter for a car. I think that if something is defective with your product you'll have a very valid argument because they'll have your signature and date you received shipment on file and if you can't get anything from the company you ordered from then you'll most certainly have an argument against Purolator.

          Really? So that would mean Purolator is a Canadian company. If so, then I am so not surprised about this kind of service.

          As for the equipment: I hope so. I bought all my other parts from a local store, so I'd really have to beg to get them to take back anything faulty, even though its past the 7-day return warranty.

          Hopefully that won't happen and everything will work fine. *crosses fingers*
