I just played with this here for a bit, very cool! I guess SMS is free too, you dont need it thru ur provider. They will do instant sms <-> email and it shows up on your phone etc, check it out.

I've had it for a while, just been too lazy to get my friends and new people to use that number over my old number. I think if I get a droid phone I will start to use it then when I can get something better for the integration over my BB.

I like Google Voice! It comes in handy for friends and family in Calgary to reach me while I'm down here in Houston temporarily. I just have to give them one number instead of multiple phone numbers. And when I call back home, I can avoid long distance charges completely.

Finally, it'll be good in the future because Houston friends can phone my Google Voice number, which will be a local call for them, to reach me in Calgary!

I think this is really great service because we can make call and SMS also. Actually now it is available to US only but after sometimes it is fully available to the world so everybody can enjoy the voice facility. I am really impressed by it.
