    ----------------------------------------------

    ABOUT CHRIS LIEBING:
Chris Liebing had his first Residency as a DJ in a small club called "Red Brick" 1991 in Giessen, near Frankfurt. There he was playing all sorts of music from Soul, Hip Hop and Pop to House. In 1993, buying his records at Downtown Records in Giessen, he discovered the more electronic side of music, and one year later, he decided to open up a Techno Club, called "Spinclub". Already beginning of 1995 the club had to close down and Chris began working for Eye -Q Records in Frankfurt. During that period, he met his friend and partner Andre Walter. Together they started to built up a studio and worked on music. Later that year, the first record on Global Ambition was released. Also together with Tommy Bingel from Downtown Records and Toni Rios, they founded the house Label SOAP. Various Records and Remixes were released, like Traveller on Harthouse, Noosa Heads and E.H.R. on Soap, Strictly Ryth, and others. In November 1995, Chris had a chance to play at the OMEN in Frankfurt and shortly after became Resident DJ. About a year later, influenced by his DJ-ing, he created "fine Audio Recordings" together with Under Cover Music Group. Chris gained first worldwide recognition with releases like Audio 07 and Audio 11. Between 1978 and 1999 he hosted his weekly radioshow on Evosonic Radio. Very much happened then in 1999, Chris played the first time for the U60311 and started his Residency every first Friday of a month with " Es ist Freitagaaabend…!", playing along with his favourite DJ´s and Live Acts from around the world. He joined the Cocoon Agency in Frankfurt to take care of his growing Booking Schedule and also in that same year, he moved on with his Labelwork and created his own Record company "CLR". From then on the Labels CLR, Clretry, CLAU, Stigmata and Soap were distributed by Prime in England. Since August 2000 you can hear Chris and Pauli Steinbach in their "Pitch Control" on HR XXL every Thursday night. In may 2001 he mixed this double CD and started working on his Album for CLR which will hopefully bereleased within the following year. In 2002 he left Cocoon Booking to manage the Booking Schedule by himself.
Chris Liebing is Frankfurt's premier techno DJ. As a 20-year veteran and early adopter of digital mixing and live song deconstruction, he's toured the world numerous times both solo and as part of the Collabs Live duo with Speedy J. Liebing's productions and remixes appear on such revered labels as Novamute and Tresor and in the playlists of the world's top electronic DJs. Not only an established artist on many levels, Liebing has also been accredited to bringing true techno to the Ibiza crowds with his "Meganite" and "Be at Space" residencies over the last decade. Droid's audience should expect nothing less than epic sounds from this seasoned professional

    ABOUT DRUMCELL:
Drumcell is the founder of Droid Recordings and co-founder of Droid Behavior along with the Vargas brothers of techno duo Acid Circus. Since the mid Nineties Drumcell has been a firm believer in the power of techno and over the past decade become one of Southern California’s greatest champions. As a graduate of the Musician’s Institute, a veteran performer at parties, and longtime recording engineer Drumcell harnesses a strong musical background with a gifted sense of technological intuition. The delicate balance keeps him pushing the limits of his gear continually as a way to develop his artistic express. Forming the Droid Behavior collective with Acid Circus earlier this decade was another other major step in this ongoing development. In turn, the collective has helped expose other local artists as well as established DJs to the growing legion of techno fans in the Los Angeles basin. In the past five years, he’s played alongside nearly every major DJ in the genre via the trio’s signature Interface parties. This year he also did a mini-tour of the US which culminated in him playing the main stage at the prestigious Movement festival in Detroit. Drumcell ‘s constant push into the bleeding edges of music technology has earned him the title of product specialist for Native Instruments. He is out there pushing the limits of what current technology has to offer- developing homebrew software as well as cutting edge hardware solutions to bring a fresh, innovative taste to his production and performances. Innovations that blur the lines between live performance and a traditional DJ set up creating “a thick blend of acidic techno and aggressive but funky minimalist groove”. Drumcell is one of the few artists exploiting the full power of software like Traktor and Ableton run through state-of-the-art Allen & Heath mixer technology. In conjunction, the trinity is used to create a hybrid of flexibility and fidelity for the ultimate in electronic music performance. Drumcell uses this platform to highlight his own needles-in-the-red brand of aggressive, discordant techno. In fact, this summer’s Droid Recordings release “Cell Injection”, with longtime production partner Audio Injection, crystallized this amped up testosterone booster meets Quaalude jack and funk perfectly. In turn, the release captured the attention of many of the world’s top techno jocks in the process – including Speedy J and Richie Hawtin. It’s a sound born of musical menace and the kinds of wickedness that only the poisoned airs of LA can conjure. Recently, Drumcell has also had a string of additional successes including remixes of techno legend Chris Leibing on Leibing’s own CLR label as well as the seventh anniversary of the now legendary Interface parties These gatherings have brought the best of the old school warehouse vibe together with intense new school multimedia presentations that defy explanation. He is currently developing a audio/visual performance to be unveiled by the end of this year in hopes of elevating his performances at these events to the next level. Drumcell will definitely be one artist worth watching in 2010.

    ABOUT AUDIO INJECTION:
Since being introduced to electronic music back in the early 90’s, Audio Injection has been hooked. At the early age of 15 he started Djing and playing out at local underground events and raves around the Southern California area. You would find him spinning various styles from house, acid, & techno to hardcore techno. After years of Djing he then decided to learn to produce his own music, which landed him releases on techno labels such as Monoid, Stimulus, & local label Droid Recordings. Since being associated with local event production group Droid Behavior in 2003, you can find him as a resident at the infamous Interface warehouse events as well as a regular producer for Droid Recordings along with Drumcell (Co-Founder of Droid Behavior). With releases & remixes on labels such as Droid, 4 Track, Circle Music (Germany) , Tora Tora Tora, and many more to come, Audio Injection continues to shape his own sound and collaborate with Drumcell to release more mind-bending techno with a funky twist, putting Los Angeles & Droid Recordings on the techno map.

    ABOUT DELINQUENT FREQUENCY:
Delinquent Frequency: a renegade beat line brewed between two of MusicSavages most inventive digital jockeys. Matthew’s taste is darker, Jake likes it bouncy. Their shows consist of spinning single tracks back to back, letting the flow of the set be determined by who spins the first track. The sound builds and grows. One bass line develops into a layered depth of sound, ornate yet simple and stripped down. Moving through an entire spectrum of minimal-techno genres during a set, Delinquent Frequency improvises new sound structures that groove you down to the bone. Prepare for some intricate chopped up beats paired with random bubbly synth strikes that will make your bowels quiver; with driving, rolling percussive elements that you can’t help but shuffle your feet to. A unique style of dark bounce paired with smooth progressive layer mixing is guaranteed to turn you Delinquent.
