Back on topic, for me that Idioma track on CD1 is pure bliss. Can't get enough of the final 2 minutes of it.Comment

CD1 has some incredibly beautiful music!! Unless something amazing happens the first track is my track of the year against the fiercest competition ever !! It's been an outstanding year for music .Last edited by DIDI; November 1, 2010, 03:25:17 AM.Originally posted by TheVrkit IS incredible isn't it??

Re: Hernan Cattaneo - Renaissance The Masters Series: Parallel
I bought the album about 3 months ago played the first song then lent it to my friend who gave it back about 2 weeks ago. Been listening to CD1 in my car and CD2 in the work vehicle and I must say CD1 is outstanding and the better disc of the two. Tracks 4-8 are surreal and have to be played loud to hear all the different layered sounds weaved in
Once again Hernan has made my year with a top compilation

Can't say which disc I like better because they are so different. CD2 is kinda what you expect from Hernan and I love it almost from the start to the end. Especially the HC and Soundexile mixes of "Eggsperience", Quivvers "Boom Boom" and that Rumblefish remix from the Tone Depth track are pure earwax. For CD1, I have to be in the right mood to listen to it and to really enjoy it. It's chilled music but I can only get something from it when I listen closely to it. If I listen to it while doing other things it goes by pretty unnoticed. There are some really intense and very well produced tracks on it though so headphones make sense to get most out of it.Comment

That's funny, I can't do anything while I listen to CD1 It sucks me in right from the first track. I love the intensity. Which one I love the best probably just depends on the mood I'm in. Both great !!Originally posted by TheVrkit IS incredible isn't it??

Re: Hernan Cattaneo - Renaissance The Masters Series: Parallel
never really grabbed me this release...cd1 sure has some nice tracks and probably my fav, cd2 was a bit of a let down, the Promo mix was actually a lot better imo...just dont see me listening to this much
Also, probably just me, but i thought the mastering on the cd was horrible, tracks were crushed way too muchComment

Cd1 for me is a masterpiece that i didn't expect from HC to be honest....Was expecting the live Hernan experience and i was caught by surprise with the downtempo vibe....Henry Saiz - We are All ( Henry Saiz Earth's Pulse Version) is what really blew me....
Cd2 is what Hernan is all about .....always doing what he does best, seamless mixing with the best flow and programming ...This is GOLD!!!Comment
