A member of the loose Detroit/Windsor based gathering of audio-visual artists, poets, DJs and musicians called Thinkbox Collective, McNamara uses his own compositions as settings for his video works, and he uses his ambient video elements to compose more music, a process he describes as, “a perpetual motion machine (sort of).”The trio of artists that make up NOSPECTACLE includes Jennifer Paull and Walter Wasacz, who bring with them backgrounds in electronic arts, performance, photography and music criticism.
