This Friday 23rd July, Blkmarket Membership is proud to present the very famous SUPERFREQ party stateside in New York. Superfreq is Mr.C's acclaimed London party, which for many years has kept a very strong reputation as one of the UK's leading nights in underground dance music. With Mr.C's recent permanent move to Los Angeles, SUPERFREQ has now branched out into the United States. We waited for the right time to make this event happen and it is with our great pleasure that with bring you this very special event here in New York.

Mr.C has been a friend of ours for quite sometime and is one of the leading figures to come out of the UK electronic dance music scene. Aside from being a key figure in the massive UK pop electronic group the Shamen, Mr.C founded his first label Plink Plonk in 1992. In 1995 he founded both 'The End' night club (R.I.P) along with Layo and Bushwacka as well as setting up shop for the self titled record label in 2002. Aside from Fabric London, 'The End' was an EDM mecca for many years. Mr.C is also one half of the production duo Sychopant Slags along with New York's Adultnapper. For those of you that remember our Halloween party last year, you will remember how Mr.C plays as he always takes his audience on a trippy, dark and heady journey. Prepare for an extended set

Art Department is one of the MOST talked about duo's to come out in a recent months. Recently being signed onto Crosstown Rebels, both artists mark their Blkmarket Membership debut with an extended 3 hour live & dj performance. The duo is made up of one of Canada's legends and the other half is made up by one of Canada's most rising stars. With Individual recent signings on labels such as Wolf+Lamb, Connect Four, Perspectiv and No.19, this duo in our eyes are one's to watch out for! And if that wasn't enough they will be performing the track that everyone is talking about 'Without You' set soon to be released. Here is a little teaser of that track:

DJ Garth, founder of Grayhound Recordings which was a label that pushed the boundaries in tech-house and fused guitars riffs, delays, bongo drum madness and other ear piercing sounds. It was this label that because a staple sound of Lee Burridge & Craig richard's Tyrant Sound. This label definetely for us was one of the best record labels to come out in the U.S in the 90's and its still stay's in our record bags till today. If you have not heard of it, we suggest that you should probably take our advice and check Grayhound Recordings out (full catalogue available on www.beatport.com) Since then, he has launched his new label Golden Goose under his King & Hound moniker which featured special new edits of some famous tracks that you may know of once you hear it. He is an artist who for a very long long long time we have wanted to bring to Blkmarket Membership and its finally happened. You do not want to miss out on him either as we bring you DJ Garth's very long awaited return to New York as he closes out the party with his signature sound.
