I thought this was beautiful. Each wing of the building with a different architecture style, you look down a central flight of stairs into this greenery. What looks like a concrete bunker leads to a restaurant.

On the street, this adorned the side of a corner cafe, right across the road is this:





They're proud of winning Cannes, and well-deserved too. They do some of the best digital advertising for an apparel brand.



This is Uniqlo, Japan's Gap. But cooler. Those tubes contain t-shirts inspired by the anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Wow man, there are some spectacular shots in there! My fav's for no particular reason are the privacy screens (inside the restaurant), the mission statements inside the small restaurants, the candid shots taken of various patrons and people walking, which really articulates the culture and gives meaning to the photographs and society. I also like the photo of the Expresso Express Van and "manners" poster in the subway that's awesome.

What is the dish on the top left of this photo? What are the ingredients? Looks healthy:

I think that's cabbage or lettuce with the brown sauce that's usually served with tonkatsu.

Unfortunately the gig was over when I was there, I think Corven might've attended it. But really nice cover ... some clubs in Japan have these monthly booklets for their gigs instead of weekly flyers. Maybe this is the norm in the West? I know it wasn't in Australia.
