i'm not sure if it's recent news but i just read about this. i hope it's not a repost, didnt find anything with search.

~40 billionaires give at least 50% of their wealth to philanthropy. how that works: http://givingpledge.org

the aim is to gather 600 billion dollars. just imagine what can be achieved with that amount of money oO

I hope it goes to good causes anyway, good on them all for donating. No one person needs such wealth, ya can't take it with you to the grave anyway.
