will the saddest day in NFL history happen soon?

the true blue warrior, brett favre, seems to be pondering his retirement.. ...sad sad sad. the NFL is losing the classiest guy they have in the league if he puts the cleats in the locker for the last time  . a legend who is the only player ever to win the MVP 3 times, he consistently played his best during the worst times of his life..... this really stinks. i could only hope that the pack go out and tool up for next season so favre will come back and go out at the top....

stay brett!~ the league needs you more than ever.

if not, i'll be in canton for the induction.

anyone that throws 4 interceptions and makes countless other bonehead mistakes needs to at least CONSIDER retirement. not saying he needs to retire because he obviously has shown this season he can still be a badass, but he even had me questioning him yesterday. sure, everyone has a bad day, but he didn't look like brett favre.
Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?

3 of them were the recievers completely running out of thier routes.... they would break in, he would throw where he should have and they would break away form the the ball.....

either way, he still is my favorite sports player since mattingly. toughest NFL player i have ever watched. class act 100% IMO. shaved his head again for his wife.

As a Vikings fan, I was happy to see favre play like crap yesterday. I respect the guy, but I think his retirement is nearing. I'm so sick of the media always on his nuts like he is the only player in the history of sports to play injured/with family problems/etc. Bottom line, he's has a hell of a run but his time has come.

don't like him, never liked him, can't wait for him to retire. he is way to inconsistent to be considered the greatest. and i am tired of that collective ass kissing, especially madden. have you noticed if somebody else throwing an interception that QB is a dumb ass, if it is favre it is a receivers fault, offensive line fault, coaches fault, but he is the greatest. Stop that crazy infatuation with this hick! Yesterday one of the best moments of this year, watching GB lose. Please Favre, do us all the favor and retire already!

good try, but i am a buffalo bills fan, don't get angry man! you did not expect everybody to agree with you here, did you? btw, ray lewis has more game then farve ever going to have! and i don't see anything wrong with the self promotion, I say entertain me, if I am looking for a role model, football would be the last place on earth for me to find one.

ps. Moss' celebration was hilarious! People need to lighten up and not take it so seriously. T.O. has been much worse this season imho.

i laughed at moss. but TO doesnt really go after fans, he is a wiseass. another person who is good for a luah is pennington. on the rare occasion he does something special, he usually has a celebratory dance or sumin.

haha, ray lewis is a baby. i was happy to see TO call him out , even if he was only kidding. ray lewis started crying his eyes out and had to have an apology. favre isn't in his glory days anymore, but at least he ain't a baby. i think ray lewis would stop playing if he broke a nail.

Favre is an old piece of shit. He is the sole reason why I hate GBP. He's an old man. Old men don't deserve to play in the NFL.

And that whole 'Farve' deal pisses me off.

i agree with you 110%. if brett would allow it, madden would give him head everyday of his life.
never heard an announcer jack someone off so much verbally.
favre favre favre, thats all madden talks about. he even reverts to favre during other games.
                        total knob imo.
yeah yeah, i respect favre and all, but he's no where near the caliber of player this year that he has been in the past. he doesnt have the experienced team backing him up any more either. bunch of young guys in it for themselves it seems.

                        bottom line:
i wont lose sleep if he retires.

Read my lips the man will NOT retire. Trust me guys. Many emotions are running when you perform like, a man of his stature and greatness.

Now if they lost and he played well then yes he will retire but not after something like that.

If you're a fan of the game of football, I think you have to love -- or at least love to hate -- Favre. He has off days, for sure, but if my team were down, he's the guy I would want heading the charge. Total gamer.
