For its latest release exquisite deep house imprint 3345 Music is proud to present House Session Volume 1, a quartet of soulful, vocal house music gems from a variety of artists within the label's camp. Contained within:
Jennifer Perryman - Wake Up (Ralf GUM Vocal Mix) - Rising Texan jazz vocalist Jennifer Perryman steps out on her own with an amazing remix from Ralf GUM (GOGO Music). Jennifer's powerful blend of seriousness and whimsy is simply soulful, embracing modern musical elements while paying homage to the nostalgic. Ralf's distinctive groove and his shared passion for all things soulful shines through and creates an irresistible aura. Jennifer's beautiful and soaring vocals and Ralf's pristine production create a beautiful track that aims to prove, groove and move you. A possible future deep house classic.
Triple Threat - Gone! (High Maintenance Remix) - 3345 act Triple Threat finds himself remixed by Dallas' funky house duo High Maintenance. The main riff was laying around for a while, intended to be used in a downtempo track. Late one night the Triple Threat got a feeling for the rhythm and busted out funky bass guitar throwing the track in a new direction with a hot vibe. Jimmy Smith style organ was added for the jazzy feel creating a dance-floor monster. High Maintenance deliriously increase the energy, making this potent remix an enticing collaboration of funky souls.
Intensity of Sound - Drifting Away (Sub Sonic Vocal Mix) - Intensity of Sound are veteran German producers Marcel Grasmueck and Kay Praag, each with impressive resumes. With "Drifting Away" they team with stunning vocalist Kim Bennett to deliver exceptional beauty over impeccable production. The Sub Sonic Vocal Mix places Kim's creamy vocals over classic-Euro inspired musical themes creating a transcendent deep house dance-floor moment.
Castillo & Face feat. Jennifer Perryman - Love's Wine (Ill Castle Remix) - Jennifer Perryman returns to close out this EP, now produced by the team of Joe Castillo and Face. "Love's Wine‚" a wonderful, uplifting house track filled with energy and passion. Jennifer's soaring vocals, Face's brilliant instrumentation and Castillo's bumping beats meld into a perfect intoxication. Ill Castle (Grab Recordings), another project of Joe Castillo, remixes the track into a bona-fide big room club floor filler.
Graeme Park - "Oh. My. God! What are you doing? Whatever it is, please keep on doing what you do. Yes, yes, yes!"
Joey Silvero (Distant People) - "Ralf GUM drops some nice modern disco flavor. The bass and sax really bring the funk!"
Felix JR (Ibiza Global Radio) - "Fantastic, soulful, deep .. fantastic!!"
Rees Urban (5 Magazine) - "Awesome release! 'Wake Up' is the best thing I've heard out of the 60 things I listened to today!"
