    Freaking Sweet Movie Watching Experience

    My sister set up her Benq MP512 Digital Projector yesterday. Talk about Home Theater experience. This projector is sweet ass. Its like being at the movies. Bloody fantastic watching.

    Its a short-throw projector so works great in tight spaces as well. Right now she has it about 5ft from the wall and its at about 90" viewing. It has an HDMI input, pretty quite as far as projectors go. Lastly around $500 plus taxes, the price definitely cannot be beat.

    Any of you guys have a projector setup?

      That's value for money right there....pretty cool , resolution? contrast any good? It's cool to plug your ps3 on or xbox wii whatever.

          this is totally what i want to do once i buy a house. a hd projector cant be beat.

              Benq built this model specifically designed for the wii, a standard definition gaming platform. Its an entry level model with 800x600 native resolution but 1280x1024 works great for us.

              It has a brightness of 2200 ANSI Lumens, contrast ration of 2500:1. Its low weight of only 2.2 Kg makes it easy to transport and handle.

              Keep in mind she bought this projector over a year ago but had no where to set it up until now... lol.

                  This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

                      This is true, we are having a movie night tonight with friends and trying to figure out how many bags of popcorn we will need...lol

                          my friends grandmother in Palm Bay near Tampa has one, it projects a picture pretty much the same quality as going to the movies. She has a huge house, with walls the accommodate the projection perfectly... about 50 feet tall in the living room.

                          It was fun while it lasted...
