The Dam lived up to its rep once again. Had a great time, visited many a coffee shop, saw and met many a character and even managed a trip to the Amsterdam Arena which was really good.

All in all,a great way to spend your birthday.

Well everytime ive been ive stayed in apartments with 2 or 3 other guys so when you split the costs, its not so bad.

Depends on your price range and what you are looking for.

We stayed here on our recent trip and thought it was really good.

Bit of a walk to get to the more popular places but i dont mind walking around new cities or towns to see whats going on. And to be honest, a lot of the lesser known places are much better than the more obvious tourist traps in Amsterdam.
