Re: Hernan Cattaneo-Renaissance the Master Series Vol.2

Just bought mine last night and listened to both disks. Disk one was pretty good. It did not hook me right away but after the second listen it is starting to catch on.

Now disk two is awesome. Not a bad tune on disk two. ONe after another of just quality track after quality track. I was definatly impressed with this comp. Hernan is proving why he is becoming the best dj in the business. I definatly recommend this comp. to anyone who loves prog and break beat....go out an support the best dj in the world!!!

hey man, he played several songs that he played on that live at womb set back in 4-14-2004. why don't YOU get your facts straight, then we'll talk. just because some of the songs may have been released a month ago, doesn't mean we haven't all heard them before.

^ i agree. i'm just saying, i like it more when i hear a release with songs that are good that i have never heard before. i'll listen to it more when i have a fresh set of tunes.

i got a question though... do management companies of the artists that go on these big releases have anything to do with what goes on the release? for example, producer x's management pays renaissance label to have producer x's song mixed into hernan's release? i'm sure that happens.

thats funny you say that, i was thinking something similar, like maybe if a track is still hot on the "club circuit", the lable wont let it go on a comp cd...

I heard some of the songs on rennaissance but most were new to me...I thought he did a wonderful job programming the set.

                            HI,

I think the new album is great! And the album has a hungarian track !!!04. Snake Sedrick - Fields (Blue Haze mix).

Snake Sedrick is a hungarian dj and he makes good music.

This track is great and the next one (graham and blades - funky soma) takes you to the surface just to catch some air before deep diving again... I just miss Somnuscorp - Sistema de Fe between them. I really love Sistema de Fe. He recently played that sequence on JD's kiss100 as well as on his presentation here in Panama last Thursday. I wonder why somnus wasn't included on this compilation as he has also been charting their tracks a lot. :?

BTW, last Thursday here. OMG What a night!! he just popped my brains out. also, we couldn't pick a best night for my girl's first pill :P Hernan is just amazing... just as the argentinians say 6th=1st!!!
