The recipes look great, espescially the fish. Does anyone have a good lasagna dish?

Hey hey... Anyone got any ideas for what to do with a bacon chop?

I think chuck it and get take-away, but we don't like to waste food.

I love to cook. Here's one of my favorite recipes (I usually add a bit more than the recommended amount of each ingredient...depending on how I want it to taste.)

Strawberry Chicken (Seasame Chicken in Cumberland Sauce)

                        Difficulty: Easy
                        Prep Time: 5 minutes
                        Cook Time: 20 minutes
                        Yield: 4 servings

                        Seasame Chicken
                        4 oz Dry Bread Crumbs
                        1/4 cup Seasame Seeds
1 1/4 oz Grated Parmesan Cheese
                        1 tsp Parsley Flakes
                        1/4 tsp White Pepper
                        4 Chicken Breasts
1 1/2 oz Margarine (or butter)

                        1. Preheat oven to 425F and melt the margarine in a pot at low heat.

                        2. Combine first 5 ingredients in medium bowl and blend well.

                        3. Dip chicken breasts in margarine and then coat with seasame breading.

                        4. Place on baking sheet and bake 20 minutes, serve immediately with warm sauce.

                        Cumberland Sauce
                        3/4 tsp Orange Juice
                        1/4 tsp Lemon Juice
                        1/4 cup Strawberry Preserves
                        1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper

                        1. Combine juices in large sauce pan and heat through.

I usually serve it with steamed vegetables, roasted potato wedges, and a nice red wine. Good stuff!

I just grilled some KC strips and made some green bean casserole. I'd rather spend double and waste half of a good meal than eat a bad meal

Re: What to cook for dinner?

Here is something that I made tonight for dinner, real easy too. Takes about 20 minutes
                                Ingrediants:
                                1. about a 1lb of chicken breast
                                2. 1 onion
                                3. sliced pack of mushrooms
                                4. Olive Oil
                                5. White Zin Wine

Chop up the onions and saute in Olive Oil along with the sliced mushrooms. Season with salt. pepper and garlic. Then throw in the chicken and saute as well, along with adding some White Zinf wine. When ready throw over a bed of rice or pasta. Great flavor and very little cleanup.
