It's a platform, not an oil drilling rig. Completely different from the BP incident. And yes, this is very strange this shit is happening all of a sudden. The BP accident was the first in some 50+ years. And Steve, drilling for oil is not completely safe, but it's how we get our energy and fuel for a variety of things that impact our lives on a daily basis. I'm all for finding an alternative, but until there is one, we can't just give up on oil. Thousands of gulf coast residents have lost their jobs because of this drilling ban. The ban needs to be lifted and the pursuit for an alternative needs to be kicked into overdrive.
Music is the answer, to your problems. Keep on movin', till you solve them.
