have to agree with didi's comments on this
its totally unsafe and a perverts paradise...as for using it to keep in touch with friends and family....thats what email skype and phones are for.
i also dont have a facebook account but do get the emails from them telling my friends want to get in touch with me....load of wank

It's a necessary evil - great for music updates, some of the other updates can be really annoying, but there you can ignore them via settings etc.

AND.... to spy on your friends from the other side of the pond
