Headlining are the masters of mind-tingling live sets: the legendary Swayzak! Complimenting this duo, our personal hero and newest addition to the Resolute label is
Franklin de Costa. We have Holosound, along with Resident Resolutress Connie, all ready to hijack the dance floor and continue the journey on until sunrise and beyond!
Swayzak LIVE
Swayzak is the acclaimed London-based minimal deep-tech duo consisting of James Taylor and David Brown. The two have been making music for years, known for their exceptional releases such as "Snowboarding in Argentina” and other daring productions that have pushed and blurred the boundaries of minimal, house, electro and deep techno.Indefinable, but recognizable, Swazyak is no doubt one of the most legendary duos in the world of dance music. New York is certainly familiar ground for them... Let’s give them our signature welcome back, like only we can do!
Franklin de Costa
This talented DJ/Producer from Germany has been spinning across theworld with his signature funky tech-house sound, captivating dancefloors, and, most recently, Resolute's heart! As one of our first release artists, his newest production for our label blew us away.Franklin has been producing tracks and dropping beats since the early90s, gaining more international recognition with releases on well-known labels such as Curle, Leena, Resopal Red, Trapez Ltd,Karmarouge Noir, Einmaleins Musik and Treibstoff. His singles grace the charts of djs worldwide. We are VERY excited to host the return of this seasoned DJ to NYC.
Holosound
Holosound, aka Alex Fish, is not a new face to New York dance music landscape – he’s been dropping beats around the city since early 2000,honing a reputation from his edgy and progressive sound. His musical style is the product of New York’s eclectic underground, unifying electro-driven house, deep techno soul and everything in between into fluid sets and polished grooves. Today he runs his own label,Holosound Theory Recordings and continues to produce and play throughout New York and abroad. And for tonight, we’re very excited to have him make his Resolute debut!
Connie
Connie has been a Resolute resident from the beginning, honing a reputation for her edgy and eclectic sound and collaborations with live music and live art. She is one of the few first female DJs involved in the rejuvenation of New York’s techno scene,injecting it with her sharp ear for music ahead of its time. Over the course of her career, she has become a staple in the underground scene,constantly pushing her music and sets beyond the fringes of house and techno.Connie is full of creative surprises and musical magic that continues to twist our minds!
