Part 6 of our Escapism Musique series comes our way via Argentinian DJ Ronan Portela. special thanks to Escapism .... Stay NOICE!Ronan Portela hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina. he and his brother (Leo Portela) have been producing and djing house music together since the '90s. Today his music ranges from deep groovy house to floor-pumping tech-house. In 1999, Ronan released his debut album on Url Records (the label of Charly Alberti of Soda Stereo). after that, he did a bunch of releases, remixes and edits simply as Ronan and also with his group called Cutlab on labels like OM Records, Defected, Swank, Big Chief, Kitsam, Onethirty, Quiet City, Ksr, Kolour, Black Flag, Harlem Tracks, Bass Walk, and the list goes on. More recently his tech-house sound evolved beautifully to fit these modern times. He continues to release on labels like Monique Musique, Foundsound, Nulogic, Be Real, Timbee, Eat More Beef, plus the Buenos Aires-based label which he co-runs called Unlock Recordings.
