Oh well. I'll see if I can return the 52x ones or maybe do an exchange (hiding the already burned CDs of course)
Figured out my CD-R w/ cue burning problem!

You don't want to burn them that fast any way. 40x is max speed and even then you will get more errors then at say 24x speed. I, personally, never burn over 40x, even if they are "good" at 48x and 52x speed. Just slow it down, you will get less errors and longer lasting discs."The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws." - Tacitus (55-117 A.D.)

Galapidate's and Civic_Zen's sigs are both terrible!http://www.myspace.com/mjdubmusic
You can't have manslaughter without laughter.
"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."Comment

assuming from your post that you use cdrwin and assuming that you have a legitimate copy (working key), then it might be your media.
try slowing down the burn. if you're burning at 40x plus, your pc may not be able to decode the mp3 to wav fast enough, hence the errors. i have a 52x burner but for burning mp3s as cd-da discs, i burn at 24x.
i have used cdrwin before and i like EAC much better. and the best part is, it's free!Comment
