Colorado-based SAVOY's rock edged, yet club-geared releases, along with their notoriously high energy live shows have spawned a hybrid dance culture of its own. In just under a year and a half, the live electro-house trio has made a name for itself by effectively bridging the gap between the concert venue rocker and the club-bangin' partier - and the result is a rapidly emerging new market that can't seem to get enough. In such a short period of time, SAVOY has truly established themselves as not only talented producers but as innovators of live electronic music. 2010 marked the release of SAVOY’s much anticipated new EP “Nothin For Nothin” which includes remixes of Dire Straits, No Doubt, and more.

D.V.S* (aka Derek VanScoten) is a Brooklyn, NY based Guitarist/ Producer/ DJ. Armed with a customized 6 string, a lightbrite midi controller, and a stealthy black laptop, D.V.S* combines deep analog beats with fuzzy psychedelic guitars, and crackle-popping soul melodies with dubstep-style bass brawn. The result is a natural, yet vibrant energy rarely attained in the realm of electronic music. As a colorful producer on the rise, his sounds have been blasting in the earbuds and speakercones of beat heads around the country.
Now more than ever, music lovers are finding common interest in producers dropping dancefloor beats dressed with live melodies and sexy textures. D.V.S* has a unique sound that sets the crowds into motion, merging Soul with Hip Hop, Indie Rock with Dubstep, and Folk with Drum n’ Bass.

As a well traveled DJ/Producer and jazz drummer, his diverse DJ style boasts fresh picked flavors from music around the globe. He's steady rockin dancefloors blending his organic musical roots with modern electric vibes to create deep dance rhythms riddled with tasty riffs that make people smile and shake. Through a sensible use of bumping grooves and energetic mixing, his goal is to move your body, free your mind...nourish your soul.
