I use AVG Free.

Although, as a paid alternative CA is fantastic. Very cheap and high quality product that does not overuse system resource (such as Norton etc). http://shop.ca.com/ca/products/antiv...virus_plus.asp

norton is freaking terrible. It is currently using ~60MB on my laptop for work right now just being idle.

I use AVG free along with weekly scans using Malwarebytes

Norton is terrible, as well as being a resource hog, it can't figure out wtf it's supposed to be blocking and half the time tries to block applications I've installed.. at least that's how it was when I last used it almost 10 years ago
