You wanna go see him live, you would never breath Hernan and tiesticle in the same sentence after that.

                Re: Hernan Cattaneo

Hernan's The Masters Series cd is pure masterpiece, his metrodance radio shows are great, but ...
I saw him twice in last couple of months, and his live sets are just average and nothing more. Track selection is good, mixing skills fine, but something definitely missing

I hated his master series, BUT I love his live sets. I haven't been let down every time I've seen him spin. He always makes it a point to say hi because we're fans of the best football team in Argentina, if not the world.

yes really...so the only "decent" mixes you've heard are his Kiss mixes..I've seen him 3 times and he was the shit everytime...to compare him to Tiesto is way off the mark...Tiesto blows, and has always blown...hell, while talking to a well known trance producer/dj, who shall remain nameless so as to not incriminate him, I was told that Tiesto pays people to make his music for him...so not only does he not produce his own stuff, but he's a shitty dj as well...couldn't match a beat if his life depended on it...transitions are the worst I've heard...Hernan, on the other hand, can match beats, plays great sexy house music, and produces his own stuff...I think the comparison was completely unfair...

I loved that 20 min Cream mix from November ... pity that's all they aired.

The Electrofly@Proton set [ms] hosted in September was very dark ... but amazing - easily one of the best sets from last year.

Can't wait for his May/Jun Uk tour.

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.
