Add2Basket - Nose You
- original mix
- Wehbba remix
Promo Video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8_L4_-lycc
For our 31st release, we're delighted to welcome two artists we've admired for a while. Andrew Genser - or Add2Basket as he's more commonly known - has been on a year-long production hiatus, reinventing his sound for 2010. Nose You is the result: a driving, house workout that encaptures the sound of today.
Brazillian Rodolfo Wehbba has been causing a bit of a stir of late; fresh from a number of well received releases on Bedrock and Audio Therapy, and straight off the back of his debut album on Christian Smith's Tronic imprint, his career has skyrocketed over the last twelve months. For the remix, he goes down a slightly techier route; making a few subtle changes to give the already impressive original a more groovy, rolling feel.
Selected feedback
Hernan Cattaneo - Very good pack.
Nick Warren - Excellent, Wehbba on form
Dave Seaman - Original has nice vibe, but Wehbba is really on form here and the remix wins for me!
Chris Lake - Nice remix.
Omid 16B - Will play for sure...send wavs please.
Jody Wisternoff - Nice rolling groover from a reinvigorated Mr Basket. Out with the ahem...trance and in with the funk!
Petar Dundov - Both mixes well done.
Chloe Harris - Great music, wish there was a dub though.
Technasia - Wehbba remix is the one for me.
Matthias Vogt (Motorcitysoul) - Both very nice!
Dosem - Super Wehbba remix again.
Neil Quigley - Like the Wehbba mix, thanks.
Giorgio Roma - Groovy groovy groovy. Wehbba remix for me!
Djinxx - Will try both.
Mihai Popoviciu - Original for me.
Julian Sanza (Silver City) - Thanks for these bombs!
Aldrin (Zouk) Nice 2 tracker. Original for the deep driving groove, Wehbba for a bouncy ride.
Roberto Rodriguez - Oh yes, Add2Basket is back! Really nice party stompers!
Further support from John Digweed, Roger Sanchez, Christian Smith, 16 Bit Lolitas, Ramon Tapia and Renato Cohen.
