UPDATE: Panasonic is in fact ceasing production of the SL-1200MK6 model specifically, while other Technics turntable models will live on. Phew! Sincere apologies for the misunderstanding.

lol @ all these bogus tech base sites and blogs; they're all a bunch of nubs for 'crying wolf' - scare spamming that "technics are done for" and that it's "the end of an era." that's so wack. turntablism, true hip hop and the art of digging, etc. are too strong underground, and resilient, to be thwarted by the media and its faggotry. wouldn't want all these virtual sync djs scrambling in futility to learn how to deejay, let alone beatmatching by themselves -without software, anyways. "all ya other djs are a bunch of jerks."
