    Desert - Voices

    Anyone familiar with this classic?

Probably the track that dragged me from listening to the 'accessible' EDM of the late 90s into the progressive sound of Sasha, Digweed, Seaman etc

First heard it on an EM in 1998 from Tong of all people. Just absolutely love how mental it sounds, a proper tribal track.

Whacked on Dave Seaman Renaissance America yesterday and forgot how great the track was!

^ The vinyl I have (on Glow) is not that one - it has a B side on it and just one mix of Voices. Suppose that explains why the versions are slightly different

I like Dave Seaman's Renaissance America CD, but I felt the first and last tracks did spoilt the mix a bit. The Godspeed mix just dosn't fit with the mix. He would of been better opening with Under The Water and Calling Your Name had just been done to death. There where many great tracks around that time, I'm sure some of them would of improved the mix a little bit.

^Agree, a golden era for tunes, mix cd's and clubbing in general.
