The FORT KNOX FIVE is a leading force in the international funk and breaks scene. Having released an arsenal of floor rocking singles and remixes, the FORT KNOX FIVE has the midas touch for producing heavy hitting records.
Sid Barcelona, Jon Horvath, Rob Myers and Steve Raskin are the masterminds behind the FORT KNOX FIVE. They established Fort Knox Recordings in 2003 to release party-rocking music that crosses tempos and defies genres. Their world renowned ‘Fort Knox Sound’ has overtaken dance-floors with its distinct interweaving of live instrumentation with funky electronic breakbeats. In 2006 they released the critically acclaimed ‘The New Gold Standard’ to showcase the groundbreaking sounds from their premier funk and soul label.
The FORT KNOX FIVE’s talent for organic hooks has made them highly sought after producers and remixers. They have over 20 remixes to their credit, including monster mixes for A. Skillz and Krafty Kuts, Kraak & Smaak, Ursula 1000, Dynamo Productions, and Mo’ Horizons, as well as remixes for the legendary Tito Puente, Louis Armstrong, and Bob Marley. The FORT KNOX FIVE has coined the term ‘Reminted’ to represent their signature remixing style. They released the first ‘Reminted’ CD showcasing some of their favorite productions in a continuous DJ mix in 2007.
Further cementing the FORT KNOX FIVE’s reputation, Afrika Bambaataa—the godfather of hip-hop—asked them to produce four tracks on his latest album Dark Matter Moving at the Speed of Light released on the legendary Tommy Boy Label.
Tapped by URB Magazine for its annual “Next 100” list, the FORT KNOX FIVE’s music has been featured on major compilations including the highly regarded Hôtel Costes Sept — and has been licensed to numerous films, television shows, commercials and video games. Most recently their music has been featured in the FRINGE tv show on Fox, and video games Tiger Woods 2009 & Facebreaker. They also finished exclusive production on six original interactive tracks in the Fort Knox style for EA Sports’ Skate 2 & Skate It game soundtracks.

After raging the North American festival circuit with the music from their album “Between Worlds” in summer 2009, LYNX & Janover have established themselves as pioneers of a unique brand of electro-acoustic music by creating a diversified harmonic blend of all original hip-hop and down-tempo electronica grooves with stellar song writing, guitar playing, beat boxing, rhyming, amplified mini-kit percussion and the unique sounds of the hammered dulcimer. Big warm bass and sophisticated beats combined with LYNX’s incredible songwriting and Jamie Janover’s melodic and percussive genius puts them in a league of their own.
LYNX is a Colorado born and raised singer-songwriter and beat-boxer with a great love of hip-hop and dubstep. Jamie Janover is a national hammer dulcimer champion who holds it down as one of the only hammer dulcimer players in the world to be totally immersed in electronica.
In less than two years, LYNX & Janover have played sold out shows from British Columbia, to Colorado and have played 20 festivals in each of the past two festival seasons including Rothbury, Shambhala, High Sierra, 10,000 Lakes, Harmony, Lightning in a Bottle, Symbiosis, the Earthdance hub event and many others.

D.V.S* (aka Derek VanScoten) is a Brooklyn, NY based Guitarist/ Producer/ DJ. Armed with a customized 6 string, a lightbrite midi controller, and a stealthy black laptop, D.V.S* combines deep analog beats with vintage soul melodies and modern guitar textures. The result is a natural, yet vibrant energy rarely attained in the realm of electronic music.
Now more than ever, music lovers are finding common interest in producers dropping dancefloor beats dressed with live melodies and sexy textures. D.V.S* has a unique sound that sets the crowds into motion, merging Soul with Hip Hop, Indie Rock with Dubstep, and Folk with Drum n’ Bass.
As a vibrant up and comer, he has been hand picked to support many hot acts including Ana Sia, EOTO, Beats Antique, Big Gigantic, Boombox, and the side projects of STS9, Lotus, and Disco Biscuits. He also performed as a sideman, with many notable acts including NYC based DJ Logic and the internationally renown Devotchka.
D.V.S* is a very prolific beatsmith, even by today's fast paced electronica standards. Since October 2009, he has released a full length CD, 2 EP's, an all original mixtape, and 2 singles. All releases are available at dvsmusic.net. In early 2009 he won the JFJO remix contest for their tune "Tetherball," which was released on 1320 records.

As a well traveled DJ/Producer and jazz drummer, his diverse DJ style boasts fresh picked flavors from music around the globe.
