Every so often a night comes along that makes you go ‘WOW’. A night that makes you run for the diary with a marker pen and draw out a big, fat circle around a certain date.
This December, leave Saturday the 11th COMPLETELY free. Why? Let’s see if we can sum this up in 15 words.
Kinky Malinki. Ministry of Sound. Four rooms. Chris Lake. Funkerman. Kid Massive and Eddie Thoneick.
There. I think we managed it!
Welcome to our Christmas Party, a place where mistletoe magic happens and snow-flaked seduction can occur. It’s that time of the year and this is our present to you. A Right Royal Kinky Christmas.
Returning to the behemoth and clubbing institution that is the Ministry of Sound, we are taking over the whole building – leaving you free to explore every nook and cranny in search of some Yuletide excitement...(!)
In the Box, we’ll have Chris Lake, Funkerman and Kid Massive. Need we say more?
In the 103 Bar, Eddie Thoneick will be flying over (no doubt on a reindeer) for a spectacular Christmas set. While Steve Boyd, resident DJ at the legendary Thompsons nightspot in Belfast, will be charming us with some Irish magic.
The Loft has a special treat in store. Those of you that bought our latest KM album will know what we mean. CD3 is full-to-the-brim of Kinky Classics and that’s EXACTLY what we’ll have here. 12 years of house classics from Kinky Malinki’s dancefloor played the way they used to be – on the Technics 1210’s. Yep that’s right, it’s STRICTLY vinyl only in this room!
While in the Baby Box, we look to the future with our Future House Heroes, Adam Asenjo, BoysDontDance and more showcasing the sounds of tomorrow.
So, something for everyone we feel. From galactic headliners in the Box, Seasonal magic in the Bar, something for house music purists in the Loft and something for clued-up, cutting edge connoisseurs in the Baby Box.
We are Christmas, we are Kinky and we’ve got it wrapped.
