Back in 2003, I was a member of the now defunct forums of djmixed(dot)com. It was a small community of music lovers and cut-ups, all wonderful attributes in their own light. At the time, most everyone was really enjoying the 'Back to Mine' series- eventually someone within the core group mentioned that maybe everyone could do their own back-to-mine, as basically, a holiday gift to everyone who participated. It worked out so well - I think I received 10-12 mixes in all, from people all around the world.
So, this one, ^here^, is mine. My very own back-to-mine, but without the fanfare or gusto that a real BTM release would be. These are some of the tunes that I was completely digging back then, and even beyond 'back then'.
I hope you enjoy it. OH, it's a free download, too ;-)
