Exactly...the thing is...whatever the motivation and who ever released this...it doesn't change the fact that its a fair analysis i.e. Russia is controlled in way which could be described as a "mafia state". That said I do not think it to be in ANY way worse to the system the US government has. Both are equally undemocratic.

Btw If anyone ever does discover any evidence on 9/11 there is a good chance it would be given to him. It's probably the best chance for it to get out there. I think he is very brave, weird , but brave.

One of the results of this in Germany is that the Office leader from Guido Westerwelle, the German leader of the FDP party was fired because of the information he gave away. I guess he is not the only one around the World lol. Majority of Germans think that it was good that Wiki Leaks released them but I am not so sure about it. As much as I like freedom of press, I am not sure if it should be up to anybody to decide to release such potentielly risky material. It can harm relationships between countries and I am sure more countries than the States do the very same kind of information research and use a frank language in internal documents. I think everybody has met somebody in their Life and thought he/she is a complete dork after five minutes and told a friend or colleague about it..what the diplomats do is the very same to me, only for a different reason. What I am wondering more is that the guy was able to get all those documents from their server without beeing caught because this can't have been a one minute action lol.

well, hopefully it will lead to all these idiots that are "voted" into powerful offices might actually have to be accountable for the bullshit that spews from their mouths.. of course it might put soldiers lives at risk, but how is that different from their lives already being at risk?

You don't think the rapist charge is trumped up?? The timing is just a little too convenient. Believe me, with my attitudes I would have been one of those jumping on him from a great height if I believed there was any truth. in the claims. This is just so classic "shoot the messenger" happening here.

Just had to search for this article and came across 691 others just in the age He really is being leapt upon from a great height.

I find it really hard to make up my mind about this, I'm really glad he has released a lot of it , but petty gossip really doesn't deserve this much attention. Plus we actually may miss something really important in the deluge.

This is a good article http://www.theage.com.au/opinion/soc...204-18km3.html

Btw if we get caught out it's just an embarrassment, these people in the top levels of diplomacy really should be more careful. Far greater consequences there!!

[QUOTE=TomTom]What I am wondering more is that the guy was able to get all those documents from their server without beeing caught because this can't have been a one minute action [\QUOTE]

The minute we find out who was responsible for all these "leaks", is the very same moment where it all begins to make sense, even to those who are a only slightly bit interested in the circus that has become.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”

Fucking justice for you. The US will seek to extradite him, however are not willing to turn over troops wanted in connection with so called friendly fire deaths. You've got to love this National Security excuse to. Has the killing gone up.

He should have just fucked about in some caves for a bit with his mates and a few horses, you can evade capture forever that way.
