Habersham - Gently Shifting People CPR008

    A SIDE SAMPLE
    B SIDE SAMPLE

    - IDJ Magazine ? Jose Riera ? ?Recommended? 5/5<
    - M 8 Magazine ? Dave Begg ? 8/8 ?Tune of the Month?>

**Unreleased Relisys Feat Steve Alex Mix to be featured on Jonathan Lisle's OS2 Compilation, Bedrock Records

"An overall blend of harsh beats and precise elements....."

"an array of quirky electronic frenzy..."

    EARLY FEEDBACK:

    Satoshi Tomiie ?Deep quality music.?

Pete Gooding (Renaissance/Mambo,Ibiza) ?Side B is very cool.

Anthony Pappa ?I like the original mix and will play it out ? Thanks?

Fred Numf ?Cool warm up track? 8/10

    Jonathan Lisle (Bedrock) ?Love it!?

Moshic ?Very deep and drivey!.... the original is the one i would play, CPR signing great tunes!?

G Pal (Greece) ?Great release, love both mixes? 9/10

DJ 19 (Japan) ?Chunky, dubby and powerful track. Already played at club and radio.

Miguel Pellitero (DTPM, Fabric) ?Ok. This is fast becoming one of my favourite labels. J-Temple's "Punch" is one of my favourite tracks of 2004 ....
Back to Habersham's track, I love the production. It sounds excellent. It's a pleasure to mix with and I will definitely include it on my new mix. A priceless dj tool with a dubby feel and an ear opener.
Darkarma's Stereomenthol mix has a more pulsating feel to it and it gets even better because of the lack of a breakdown. Just a nice deep groove and floaty warm pads riding along before some acidic line gently massages your neurones. More of this please.?

James Blonde (96.4 FM BRMB) ?The original mix is the one for me, a great dirty house record that?s gaining support on my floors? 8/10

Brian Cody (Nova FM) ?Cp recordings continue to push exciting, interesting&intelligent music and once again were confronted with more forward thinking sounds this time round from Habersham with the deep "Gently shifting people" which has already being moving dancefloors . Flowing perfectly from the start with delayed hits and dark stabs over chunky beats things take a twisted turn as the track progresses with the introduction of dark melodies which culminate in a breakdown of a harsh synthline, taking the track to new deeper depths.
This is going to shake dancefloors . On the flip side its a dreamer take on things from Darkarma with intricate, slightly techy percussive elements along with tonal synth chords and sweeps that shape its mood before striping back, adding a more techy synthline and kicking in again. Another future thinking release from Cp. Respect ! Personal - 8/10 Chart ? 7.?

Paul Hughes (Energy FM) ?Beautiful piece of music this is. Two mixes of quality as well. For me fav. is the original mix although i have played both sides out in my various clubs. The original is just a touch more up there which suits me the better. As always doing what i can.

Romina Rodriguez (Metrodance FM, Buenos Aires) ?SIDE A (original Mix) Its my favourite mix! Its a great proggy house track that helps to make the warm up become the night!!! It has a wonderful groove that makes it special. I like it so much! SIDE B (Darkarma's Stereomenthol mix) I Like this side too and its a more progressive version. It's great too.?

Derek Taylor (M ?One of the best CPR tracks for a long time!! both mixes are pretty smart but i think I prefer the original! 8/10

Paul Hillyer (Southern FM) ?Darkarma mix for me. Typicaly good DJ tool from this label. 7/10

    Update ? Kris Needs ? 4/5
'Fresh tackle ahoy riding the most simple dance music staple ? a fuck off kick. But over the top comes a gamut of mellow riffage, ethereal keyboards and atmospheric effects. Spacey and subtle. Patrick ?Darkarma? Campbell then turns in a mix, which takes the emphasis off the drum while bringing in bassline and new melodies. Progressive in that it sounds like its moving things forward in the sonic department and some thought?s gone into it.'

It's nice in my sets, though I'd spin it above original speed. Otherwise it get's kinda dragging...
