Summer (Brendon Collins)' new imprint Tulipa Recordings celebrates its first release: Summer - Bluehumors EP.
"Tulipa Recordings’ first release sees label boss Summer take us on a journey into the world of deep and spacey tech-house. The A-Side “Useppa” named after a small island off of the western coast of Florida in the US, delves deep into a sultry bliss. Bell chimes soar over a vintage piano riff. Aloof vocal samples are sparsely scattered over the shimmering audio landscape.
The B-Side “Love Affair At Sea” tells a slightly different story. Taking deep house cues and utilizing progressive house mentalities, this gem swirls into an ocean of warmth. “Love Affair At Sea” is equipped with nitrogen blasts illuminating the soundscape, as well as chords and encouraging strings tugging at the heartstrings of the listener."
