Duo Yannick Labbé and Daniel ‘Störte’ Becker’s roots in the Black Forest new jazz scene still shines through in the rich musicality of their sound. Hitting gold with ‘Sweat’ back in 2005 which, after dropping on Sonar Kollektiv, found its way onto Carl Craig’s Fabric CD they were trusted enough to launch their own Member of the Trick imprint the next year. They’ve now found another home on Suol who share their love of funk, soul, disco and the kind of beautiful slow, meandering house you can hear on their podcast.
