check out Rise - was in town back in october last year and saw Danny Howells. wicked fun time. Look up a guy by the name of Mike Swells, he'll sort you out.

the truth is boston doesn't have shit for real EDM on the weekends, sure once in a while you can find a decent show at the Good life and Mariner is right Rise is a great spot and brings in some top talent on some weeknd and it goes late nigth (1:00am to 7:00am). But week in and week out the best place is the phoenix landing in cambridge on Wednesday nights for Mid week techno. They bring in some dope underground talent like paco osuna, Guido Schneider, hermenez to go with regulars Sergio Santos Tanner ross & soul clap followed next by the make it new party at the Middlesex lounge on thursday with people like Martinez, Michael Mayer, DBX, both have loads more underground talent that i am forgetting at the moment and both worth the visit. there is a loft party scene that comes and goes and it is starting to go in full swing now even with a party tonight. i'd gladly show you around if interested
