Whaoo hold on. eXeem does contain spyware, eXeem lite does not.

"Just days after the release of eXeem Open Beta comes eXeem lite 0.19 Public Beta. Much like with KaZaA, the official version of eXeem comes chock full of spy/adware -- specifically, cydoor. eXeem lite is spyware free and free of bloat -- and free. And no they are not planning a Mac or Linux version

Actually the suprnova guy sold the name to some other company, he didn't actually have anything to do with exeem itself. Also this will likely be geared towards movie more than music.
