Well said, Chunks. The show will still be available from Proton, nothing changes, apart from the ms collection, unless we find another source.╔══╗............/\_¸_/\

Re: All good things come to an end
This is what I posted on Bedrock :
On the one hand this is bad news for UK listeners, although the general state of UK radio is pretty poor - too much focus on phone in's and the same formularic pop.
In all honesty Transitions is now a different animal - a global show beamed across the world from stations with fantastic electronic rosters like Sirius & Proton to emerging areas like Belarus, India and Hawaii. So hopefully the longevity will be there for another 10 years.
Although broadcasts were initially limited to London I sussed that buying a DAB enabled me to tune in, usually live after the pub as the broadcast time of mid-night worked out very nicely (+ I was able to use a timer) ... so I've boxes full of mini-discs.
Luckily [ms] has thrown up the entire back catalogue, so I've got all the shows and even started to work through 2000 onwards - it's amazing how great this music still sounds and there are always little gems you come across.
The writing was nearly on the wall in 2004 when the show disappeared, returning at a less listener friendly-slot. Although 2005 was my least favourite year for electronic music in general, from 2006 onwards things went from strength to strength as the labels featured totally changed and the music developed with a bigger focus on germany + the emergence of talented producers making music at home.
For me 2009 and 2010 has featured some of the best music aired on Kiss - I've been tuning in religiously and have learned so much about the labels & talent out there, with new names emerging each week. Also my taste has developed so much and I've learned to appreciate electronic music far more, searching out other tracks on the back of something I'd heard on the show.
I know Diggers is amazingly passionate about the show, the music aired, the guests and the opportunity to share the music he likes with a wider audience that trust his judgement.
So a personal thank you for the past decade of amazing music & here's to another 10-years of shows aired to the many areas across the world that appreciate Transitions and love tuning in each week.

I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.Comment

There are some 40 x stations to chose from - got to www.johndigweed.com and click the red 'Radio' link in the middle top bit of the screen.
Even the likes of http://www.bigfishmanila.com/ in the Philippines get the show .... as well as the likes of Hawaii & Malta - but not the UKsigpicSimonR
