recently i read this article about all the new prototype weapons the military is putting out being tested in iraq. guns that create invisible barriers/nets with shockwaves, guns that squirt liquid slippier than ice, special bullits that don't kill etc. there was also abuse reports, specifically that soldiers are using these test-period less-harmful guns on unnecessary targets... seems as if war freaks & geeks have found their perfect playground.

Future Force, the newest experimental branch by the army, integrates the best of soldiers with the newest of equipment, including but not limited to OICW-like weapons(gun cameras and shit), 'smart' armor which is incredibly light and soft until ballistic impact, upon which it hardens, and the newest in IFF recognition software built into Oakley eyewear. That's right, it targets baddies and differentiates them from friendly soldiers.

I think they're due in 2010.

Automated 'good/bad labeling' , wouldn't that be the joke...the cross turns red when you have to kill him, and green when he's a good guy (or bribed the programmers).
