Biggest news first (aside from mastering my bowstaff skills and growing a mustache).... After months of preparation and silent, behind-the-scenes efforts, Third Eye is BACK IN BIZZZZZNESS with Taboo, a new Friday night weekly at the Sunset Club in Charlotte, NC. The night will incorporate some familiar components of LUSH Fridays @ Tonic, namely the booth and amazing sound system, which have quietly been awaiting their rebirth, along with some familiar faces from LUSH nights, all fused into a venue and atmosphere that you?re going to have to witness to believe!!!

For those who aren?t familiar with the Sunset Club, or from out of town, it?s downstairs from another one of our favorite hotspots, Tutto Mondo, in the heart of South End at 1820 South Blvd.

Will definitely do that. I try to pick up everything he does. He had a track quite a while back called 'Islam Calling' which I believe was only a White Label that just rocks. His stuff is usually very hard to come by so I will see what I can do.

how big is taboo compared to tonic?

Approximately the same size as Tonic but the configuration is much better. Bar on one end, booth on the other. All of the speaker cabinets have been built into the structure and are almost invisible. The space is much warmer in feel and the sound is far better already.

I've not been to Cielo in NYC, but a couple people have compared it to their space.
