      Re: Beatport

i stay as far away from beatport as possible. I think more labels should begin banding together, setting up their own servers and selling their own music and keeping almost all the money made from the tracks. This is underground (so called) music. So why doesn't the way we get it be more geared toward the end user. Beatport definitely isn't.

Beatport. I believe...don't quote me. Probably gets 50%, then the label gets 50% of that. And you end up getting 25% of what sales the label Tells you that you sell.

              Re: Beatport

I actually stopped searching for EDM. I'm not entirely into it anymore. I still listen to the older stuff, but nothing new. I've been finding plenty of good music on netlabels that give away their music, but could just as well sell it and make a few bucks off it. Setting up an e-commerce site these day's isn't all that difficult.

As for what music i'm into these days. Check out my new piece...
