quick question about the original metroid game

First you have to earn it, you don't start with it. Then I'm pretty sure you just press down twice, but that was the NES version. Are you talking about that new one on Gameboy where they remade it?

yeah, you have to get the ball... then press down to crouch, then press down again to go into the ball. i think you get it relatively early in the game.... so you can roll and go get one of the first energy packs, missles and bombs

early, as in when you first turn on the game. It's to the left of where you start.

yea, just go left from the start and get the ball, then press down a few times to get in it....

has anyone played metroid on gamecube? I wonder if it is good...

I agree. Couldn't stand it personally, it just didn't feel like Metroid in 3D. Not to mention I really can't stand the GC controller
