    Nine drawings (LSD)

    Hi all.

These 9 drawings were done by an artist under the influence of LSD -- part of a test conducted by the US government during it's dalliance with psychotomimetic drugs in the late 1950's. The artist was given a dose of LSD 25 and free access to an activity box full of crayons and pencils. His subject is the medico that jabbed him.

First drawing is done 20 minutes after the first dose (50ug)

85 minutes after first dose and 20 minutes after a second dose has been administered (50ug + 50ug)

2 hours 30 minutes after first dose.

He appears very focus on the business of drawing.

2 hours 32 minutes after first dose.

2 hours 35 minutes after first dose.

2 hours 45 minutes after first dose.

4 hours 25 minutes after first dose.

5 hours 45 minutes after first dose.

    8 hours after first dose.

                Re: Nine drawings (LSD)

There is a book in print that goes into a little more depth on this subject. It was started by Oscar Janiger M.D. called "LSD spirituality and the creative process". The study was conducted back in the day before "the man" clamped down, there are several good artist drawings in there. A good book over all.

                    hot link, very interesting.
btw Remoh, alot of artists dont do drugs while working. alot probably do to, but those commercials are pure evil. ok no, but they are pretty fucking bad, but what do you expect, designs go out to these commercial artists and then marketing execs get to pic which they use, those bitches are just tryin to make a dollar with the same old shit. i bet you the artist that designs (if you can even call it that) the cereal boxes werent on drugs. I feel i draw or paint better when i dont smoke trees or drink alc, but i guess its all personal preferences. I just dont feel I could really do a meaningful painting and put my soul into a fuckin canvas while my concentration is on anything else.
