Kissdafunk 7th Birthday - 2 Part Extravaganza w/ Micky Slim & Afrojack!
Stalwart club brand Kissdafunk stride on in to their 7th year of throwing exciting house parties with a double header.
The first event is on February 26th and goes under the title ‘Kissdafunk Klassics.’ As such, Mickey Slim, Rob Tissera, Mark Trophy and more will all be on hand to throw down those hands in the air tunes from days gone by.
Part 2 meanwhile comes on March 5th and is a more contemporary affair with Afrojack the special headliner. Both parties are sure to be breath taking affairs – as is always the way with KDF – and will be stuffed with colour, great music and even better people…
You don’t make it to 7 years of clubbing age without knowing how to throw a party. Over the years thousands of clubbers have danced hundreds of nights away to a wide array of welcoming house and electro sounds at clubs all over the planet on KDF World Tours, as well as regularly out in Ibiza. The list of stars to have played for legendary party types KDF includes David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Swedish House Mafia, Laidback Luke and pretty much everyone who's anyone in house music.

"The last seven years have been a total blast with so many fantastic memories . For Part 1 of our 7th birthday, we thought we'd try to recapture those great times by giving the resident DJs their chance to play the tracks that made our night one of the best supported events in the north of England. Part 2 is all about Afrojack. He's smashed the place to bits on every occasion that we've seen him.
This will be a birthday bash like no other and we're really excited about the future. The prospect of working closely with gatecrasher in Leeds, Birmingham and Nottingham was a 'no brainer’ as the club has constantly reinvented themselves and stayed way ahead of all the competition, for more years than we care to remember. We'd like to say a huge thanks to all our crowd as they are the people who really make our nights so special. We look forward to seeing plenty of old faces at both of these events."

To blow out the 7th Birthday candles in style, long time party crew Kissdafunk have decided to have a special Klassics party headlined by Micky Slim.
As one of the most charismatic individuals to smash his way onto the house music scene in recent years, Micky Slim is the Birmingham-bred bad boy that has arrived and is ready to take over. Expect him to play plenty of your old favourites from a number of different eras and styles, as will the man behind it all Rob Tissera, Marc Trophy and others.
Downstairs in the club, there will be a brand new concept - Flashback. It will feature local DJ heroes Taz and Damo playing a dancey soundtrack of the nineties and noughties. They’re a fun pair known for their enthusiasm and charm on the decks so will have room two well and truly bouncing.

The second celebration of Kissdafunk’s 7th birthday has all the usual suspects playing as well as Dutch sensation Afrojack.
The Dutch born DJ and producer is the highest new entry in DJMag’s Top 100 poll this year, and for good reason. A number of his own tunes and remixes for the likes of Wall Recordings and Ministry of Sound have smashed up party-happy dancefloors the world over during 2010 and collaborations with superstars like David Guetta, Laidback Luke and Steve Angello have also seen his stock rise. His blend of house, techno, tech and minimal has seen him play everywhere from Brazil to Australia, Singapore to Dubai.
Favourites Rob Tissera, Bobby Burnz, Marc Leaf and Drew Scott also get in on things to lay down their years of experience in working the KDF crowd’s into writhing, dancing masses!
