So what if it was illegal. I still watched the commercials at breaks of lions games and red wing games. Isn't that what it is all about anyways. It's not like the commercials were ripped out completely. The advertisers got what they wanted and so did the consumer. It was the cable networks that got pissed.

If some have issues with calling it fascism, then we can call it corporatism. If the dollar went, they'd be in deep sh*t as our purchasing power would be effectively quelled. The DHS co-opting WalMart with Big Sis videos is certainly fascistic. There's definitely a hybrid of ideologies at work in this complex behemoth of a system, most elements of which only have an interest in continuing the status quo no matter how it affects the common man or middle class.
