I think he's been up there with the best of the best for nigh on 20 years, i wouldn't call that hit and miss. Fuckin legend!
I think he has been different to Sasha & Digweed. I think he has always been more about playing great tracks and not about layering sounds on each other.
My new single "Buenos Aires" will be released as Hope Recordings 100th release in May2011. To celebrate this I wanted to release a video to go with the single and also wanted to involve all the fans i
Hernan At Moonpark playing Nick Warren - Buenos Aires

I've always been a huge Pappa fan , but the last couple of times I have seen him, I felt there was something missing. His sets didn't have the ebb and flo I like just flat out all the time, and I've come to hate that little drum machine thing. Having said that I definitely go to all his gigs. Too much good history to risk missing out
i hear ya bout the drum pad, but at least he's a former drummer and he aint as consistent as he used to be, but his sping promo 2010 was magical and there is an ibiza radio studio vid that chuck c posted on here a month or two ago that is unreal with him mixing!
Even if I donīt listen to much of his stuff currently, the manīs been at this shit for 20 years with consistent quality, not only as a DJ but also as part of WoW, and that should at least earn some form of respect. Also, I bet he doesnīt shit his pants at the prospect of having to play a DJ set longer than 2 hours or a live set that goes on for more than one hour, unlike a lot of flash in the pan one hit wonders out there currently.
You know, Hawtin bores me to fuckinī tears nowadays and Iīm not gonna start pissing all over what he has done for the scene, just because he isnīt doing something I care about currently. Itīs amazing how much ignorance and disrespect goes on in this scene nowadays, mainly from kids who have never even bothered to learn and listen to some of house and technoīs history and think theyīre awesome because they can play a 2 hour mix of the latest tracks on the Beatport top 10 and had a minor hit in Singapore, or what the fuck ever.
Fuckin legend! is right. I owe this guy everything. I can honestly say is that he is one of the nicest people in the industry if not the nicest. He's one of the few people doesn't have people sorting his tracks for them too. When you hear a Nick warren set, its truly a labour of love that he himself has put together, not 20 tracks that his secretary sent him. Hes done everything else the other big dogs have and has managed to not get a big head from it, unlike a lot of others. Always willing to help, always honest about music and always a gentleman. That's Nick.

Listening to this now. I remember the day I bought this. I went out that night and ended up back at mine with this really fit bird doing the cleanest coke I have ever done at 7am on a Sunday
