Following the release of his debut “Dynamite & Laserbeams” album last year Fergie returns with 2 brand new productions to kick start 2011 on his Excentric Muzik imprint...

It was a hectic end to the year just gone by for Fergie, with the highly successful release of his “Dynamite & Laserbeams” album and accompanying world tour. There were full and frank interviews in Mixmag and DJ Mag as well as being awarded “best comeback of 2010” in Mixmag, ahead of Daft Punk, Plastikman and DC10.

With a fresh year ahead and a soon to be released remix of yet another seminal track (this time reworking Silicon Soul’s “Right On” on Soma) Fergie is set to continue where 2010 left off, and with the aptly named “The Resistance EP” his intentions are clear.

2 dark edged, rolling, sleazy cuts that are both destined for the more twisted of the discos: “Invader” instantly hooks in and takes control with a pitched down vocal and seedy bass-line, pulling the dance-floor further and further into a gloomy sense of debauchery. On the flip, “Stealth” has similar undertones, getting to work on roughing things up with it’s driving groove and intruding fx that sneak up from no-where to deliver a lethal blow just before everything was about to make sense...
