"Arjun Vagale - Do D Do EP" out now on Tribal Rage

The 4th release on Excentric Muzik off-shoot Tribal Rage presents Arjun Vagale direct from New Dehli, India, who brings us his insanely frenetic “Do D Do EP”...

As a key member of the “Jalabee Cartel” (a live act responsible for helping push electronic dance music across India) Arjun Vagale is one busy guy, dividing his time between the group, the studio, his “Maktub Music” label, his radio show as well as the parties he often promotes... and all this on top of an already hectic DJ schedule, and eating and sleeping.

Recent solo track ‘Kill The String” released on Tom Budden’s “Alive Recordings” label during the summer was featured on John Digweed’s “Transitions” radio show and supported by DJs such as Timo Maas, Anja Schneider, Luca Bacchetti and Madskillz, we believe Arjun is definitely somebody worth shouting about, a belief confirmed by this very EP.

Title track “Do D Do” is an incredibly groovy, swinging and infectious set of beats. Alternating vocal hits and rising chords combine to create a warm, light ambience that doesn’t forget to pack a punch. “Hedbloc” takes a slightly more heads down route, laying down a heavy groove and packing it with percussion, yet keeping the hyper-active flavour of it’s neighbours. “Maltese Junction” rounds the EP off with a track packed with twists and turns. Overlapping layers of beeps, synth sounds and vocals stabs weave and combine to create a vibrant and energetic party killer.
