I think i prefer the banners without djs on. The old one of the plane wheel, the whiskey glass, that kind of thing. Just sayin.

That said i'd be very happy for our man Nikoa to have a crack at doing something black with the Dave clarke pic i posted. I think it'd look good but, again, that's me.

The banners are fucking great , its very refreshing and pleasing to see them . Sometimes I spend minutes watching them kindda like a slide show while Im listening to music.

I was very pleased to see villalobos upthere... I said it before new times , new music , new sounds and new artists are always welcomed in my world

Personally I'd say stick the glowy ball on the top link bar, get rid of the banner and save my mouse wheel 200px of scrolling on each page

It's still a mixture of artist banners and general ones, just the ones you have mentioned aren't online right now. The new motives are a nice Change imo and we are updating the rotation motives regularly (and also use older ones again) so your heroes aren't gone forever, don't worry.

Misunderstanding, at least from me, I'm not complaining about the banners that are up , I welcome diversity. But why scrap the others. ??

Btw I see the banners as my welcome to this forum Not an educational tool. Plus we already have the reccommended Djs Just quietly those Djs I mentioned are the reason that a lot of us came to this forum, other wise we would be on RA. Not that there is anything wrong with RA

We have 161 different banners. If I had them all in rotation, then your browser would essentially have to keep a mini mp3 in its cache at all times; for those users who don't frequent the site often, it's going to require downloading them every time. The banners are regularly rotated (and have been for years) to keep the cache/download time low while also making sure a particular set of banners don't get burnt out quickly.

Besides, you've had yours for 8 years... can't I have my 8 days?
