The two mixes complement each other nicely. Nice beats from Middleton.

            T337 Show/Release Notes

Some great music this week as we open with the first single from Ben Westbeech’s forthcoming LP “There’s More To Life Than This” which features collaborations with Soul Clap, Henrik Schwarz & Motor City Drum Ensemble.

Bristol-bred but now based in East London, Westbeech is responsible for one of 2010′s most distinctive dancefloor tunes in ‘Fatherless’, produced under his hard-bellied Breach alias, but he’s also a man with some serious pedigree behind him. He released his debut album, Welcome to the Best Years of Your Life, on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood label.

'Fallin' will mark Westbeech's debut release for Strictly Rhythm, and also features remixes from The 2 Bears, Dark Sky and Detroit influenced Swiss techno DJ | producer Deetron (last seen remixing 1998 on T335 Deetron's stellar 'Dark Matter' for Green featured on Transitions last year).

The 'Paradise Vocal, is an infectiously cool rub, underpinning the deep soulful vocal with nice chord swells and robotic synths before the the bigger beats kick in as Falling skydives into tech house territory before Diggers brings in the low rumble of Deetron's massive Acid Remix taking things onto the main room floor.
            • Laurent Garnier (official page) - ''ohhh fuck yesssss''
            •
Nick Warren - ''Dark Sky Dub is amazing''

            •

Michael Mayer - ''Deetron's dub is rock solid''

            • Cassius - "Fave track - Deetron Remix Acid Dub"

Quirky French combo dOP may be familiar to some after providing the 6th instalment of the Watergate series last year. Continuing their tradition of enlisting only the creme de la crème of remixers, Innervisions darlings Âme turn in a late night epic take on No More Daddy filled with the slow burning tension only they are capable of, building on the original's percussive notes.

Mobilee’s Back to Back Vol.5 presented by Marcin Czubala is about to drop, featuring collaborations galore with the likes of Catz N Dogz, Metrobox, Affkt and Jozif . If you enjoy Zoo Communale head over to Mobilee’s Soundcloud to grab the free track download 'Valentine's Day' - better than flowers & choc’s this Feb 14th.

John picks up the pace via fledgling Dutch imprint Klopfgeist who call on Estroe, no doubt after being impressed by her remix of Ryan Davis's 'My White Zebra' (T311). There's been some fantastic music coming out of Holland of late - here Estroe seamlessly pulls together a remix full of positive vibes, warmth, lush sweeping sounds & a lovely breakdown.

Next it's the clash of the bearded titans as Tom Middleton turns in a mercurial and bouncy Liquatech remix of renowned beat-boxer and live-looper Beardyman that's going to cause some serious mayhem on the floors. If you like your dubstep, there there's also a free download of the very cool U-Phonix Vocal Mix available here :

            http://soundlogik.com/where-does-beardymans-mind-go/

The original cut is taken Beardyman's forthcoming 'I Done A Album' release. On a side note Look out for Tom's forthcoming “Sea Of Glass” EP which features a Digweed & Muir mix.

Cult Swedish producer and multi-instrumentalist Tiger Stripes arrives on Audiomatique (part of the Pokerflat stable, with releases from Robert Babicz, Gui Boratto & Trentemøller) with this incredible new three track EP that warrants further detailed investigation. Back To Detroit City‘ takes us right there, deep, dubbed and melodic this retrospective workout features delicate melodies laden above yet more warm, powerful and driving beats. Continuing, elongating and drifting, it‘s a perfect conclusion to the EP.

As the founder of EC Records, Hey! Records and Immaculate, Michel De Hey is well known for his high quality techno sound. Returning to Circle Music his 'Blackbird' release Pig & Dan (lately of Cocoon) turn in a spirited techy remix, staying with the dark rumbling bassline & classic techno high hats while adding rising organ stabs and their own personality and and element of fun.

We head over to New Zealand for the oddly titled 'Batman Smells'. om Cosm and is an electronic musician from New Zealand that writes, teaches and performs various types of electronic music around the world, using the internet as his home base offering music for free to anyone who wants it. The Ableton Live Project file was originally put up on Soundcloud for his Pro Members to 'download, look around and hopefully remix'. According to Tom, the original tune 'goes all over the place, with various genres. Fellow Kiwi Fiord (one half of Antix & Fiord) provides his take - no release info available.

We end with another energetic & pulsating track from Marco Bailey's excellent new 'Dragon Man' release. 'Beaming' is an main room monster, that starts of with a heads down techno feel, before Marco cleverly drops in a breakdown c/o a great hook, lush synths & swirls ..then boom ! If you like your vinyl Beaming is available as part of a 12" Vinyl Sampler. For further info and to grab a bargain pop over to Big Cartel:

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

Thought I heard wrongly when Digweed named it, so I came on to check.

Dunno what to make of the Three mix to be honest. Sometimes he will play a track and I can't help thinking 'Is the record stuck?'. I just can't imagine anyone dancing to some of this stuff.

Saying that though, he does pull out the odd tune every now and then.
