Rekluse begins 2011 with a twist and a bang as UK artist Tom Laws supplies the 18th release with his thunderously good “Voodoo People EP”...
Following Rekluse’s impressive ending to 2010 with sizeable EP’s from Flavio Diaz and Marco Bailey & Tom Hades comes Tom Laws, undoubtedly a rising star of the UK Techno scene. As a relatively new name, in the last 12 months he has begun to make his mark with some impressive appearances on Sander Kleinenberg’s “Little Mountain Recordings”, Sasha Carassi’s “Phobiq” label, as well as *“Resopal”, “Variance” and “Gem Records”. An outing on Spektre’s “Respekt” imprint in 2011 will continue to transmit his unique take on contemporary Techno. Specialising in dark, edgy, creeped out and freaked out beats, his music’s shadowy nature is combined with some pretty killer grooves resulting in productions that are as danceable just as much as they are disturbing.
